Since 2022, Sai has garnered 1,451 runs for Gujarat in 33 innings. In his upcoming clash against RR, he is just 49 runs shy of completing 1,500 runs in the league's history
If he manages to register a score of 49 runs, then he will become the first-ever player to achieve the milestone in less than 40 innings
The record is currently held by Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sachin Tendulkar. Both completed 1,500 runs in 44 IPL innings
