India's new World Test Championship cycle is on the verge of commencing with them playing their first Test series against England
Ahead of the tour, India will miss the services of their most experienced veterans, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin
With Rohit and Virat missing from the batting lineup, the Indian setup will be left with a huge void to fill. Although the lineup consists the likes of players such as KL Rahul, Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal, but still the absence of these two stars will be felt once the squad touches English soil
With Kohli being India's crisis-man, the side might look at Sai Sudharsan, who has proved himself to be reliable at the top order
Whereas, with the aim to provide a stable start, there will be an intense race between KL Rahul and Shubman Gill to bat alongside Jaiswal at the top
With Ashwin missing to lead the spin department, it will be interesting to see if India's think tank bangs on Sai Kishore, who has impressed with his line and length
Team India will lock horns against England in the five-match Test series, starting from June 20
