The Mumbai Cricket Association has received a proposal from DreamSetGo for seats at Level 2 of the Vithal Divecha Pavilion of the Wankhede Stadium.
It is learnt that the firm has offered to buy 529 seats, three boxes of 18 seats each along with the foyer area in a 10-year arrangement and are willing to shell out R44 crore straightaway.
Two other options are put forward with different payment schedules.
The matter, although not on the agenda, was discussed in the August 7 emergent meeting of the Apex Council.

Meanwhile, former MCA managing committee member Ravi Mandrekar felt seats meant for public couldn't be compromised. He told mid-day: "Currently, each MCA member gets four complimentary passes - two each at the MCA Pavilion and Vithal Divecha Pavilion - for any international match.
"[Justice RM] Lodha Committee had imposed a limit on associations distributing more free passes and the reason for it was to make more tickets available to the general public. If you are giving more passes to one company, how will they give it to the public? It's like dishonouring the Lodha Committee's report which was accepted by the Supreme Court."
The MCA has around 340-plus member clubs.
