Meet Tim Friede, aka the real-life SnakeTok Avenger. While most of us freak out over a spider in the shower, Tim casually let over 200 venomous snakes chomp on him - on purpose. What was the need? He's on a DIY quest to make the ultimate super anti-venom.
This Wisconsin legend has been juicing himself with snake venom like it's protein powder, building immunity one bite at a time. We're talking black mambas, cobras, rattlesnakes - basically, a full cast of a reptile horror movie. Scientists said "Don't", and Tim heard "Yes." He's not doing it for clout (OK, maybe a little). Tim genuinely wants to save lives and believes the anti-venom supply chain is broken, especially in developing countries. So he turned himself into a human guinea pig.

Side effects? Oh, just casual organ failure and near-death experiences. But hey, all in a day's work for our venom-taming king. The lesson is that if life gives you cobras, become immune and vibe.
CCTV footage of a rogue robot in China sparks fear
In a Terminator-esque moment, a robot in a Chinese factory, decided it was done taking orders. CCTV footage shows the bot hanging from a crane, chilling - until it suddenly springs to life and lunges at a worker like it's auditioning for Ex-Machina 2. The poor guy then bolts, while the robot wildly flails its limbs. Thankfully, the employees manage to hit the off switch before too close to the plot of Will Smith-starrer I, Robot.
The clip went viral on Instagram and X, sparking debates about whether AI is actually a ticking time bomb. Belarus outlet Nexta summed it up perfectly: "This is what machine rebellion looks like." While no one was hurt, one can't help but side-eye robots.
The Damascus goat, nicknamed the "monster goat", is known for its bulging forehead, droopy ears, and uncanny facial features. While its appearance creeps some people out, it's actually prized for top-tier milk and meat in Syria and other Near East countries. Basically, it's the goat version of beauty and the beast - weird face, great benefits.
The Internet is in a frenzy over the debate: 100 unarmed men vs one silverback gorilla. Ignited by MrBeast, it has got over 270 million views on social media with terrific memes. One of the best one saud, "Me changing my pronouns to she/her after the gorilla rips through the 98 men."
This American boss, Jeff, personifies Michael Scott with his jokes galore. His employee, Jade Hicks, uploaded a TikTok of his antics, and broke the Internet. He's never watched The Office, yet he's living it. Now, people from Paris have applied to join his sitcom-worthy office in the US.
A UK NHS worker, Lorna Rooke, was compensated R32 lakh after a colleague publicly announced her as the Sith Lord in a 2021 team-building exercise. Rooke, feeling insulted ran a case on them and looks like she won a lottery along with it. Let it rain money!
Kids can be a menace and this one's at the top of the list. Kentucky woman Holly Lafavers's son accidentally ordered 70,000 lollipops in a single day, lured by a killer limited-time deal. Lafavers just about fainted when she saw a bill of R3.4 lakh! The Internet are calling it a "sugar tsunami", but for the mom, it's a nightmare of debt.
A bull in Rishikesh just went full biker- errâ¦scooty-mode! This dude hopped onto a scooter like it was his, revved it up, and took it for a ride - only to crash into a gate. Talk about a beefed-up joyride! Guess we're living in a bullish world now.
