I've been invited to give a lecture on leadership in the college from where I did my MBA. This somehow feels odd because I am going there as someone with a theatre background and not quite a management one.

There's always a theatre bug in some people that pushes them to realise their dreams. In retrospect, I can say that I am glad to have taken the plunge by switching fields.

I didn't want to look back and have regrets about not dabbling in something that was calling out to me. I now wake up every morning, trying to make each day count.

I hope to tell the to-be-MBA graduates that it's great to get a good job and earn well but it might require more effort to follow your passion and dreams.

Also, I want to assure them that when you do that, it's totally worth it!
