Tensions between India and Pakistan have worsened after the deadly terror attack last month in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that killed 26 people. As a part of the punitive measures taken against Islamabad, the Indian government has banned all Pakistani-registered aircraft from using Indian airspace. The development comes just days after Pakistan had stopped Indian planes from flying over its territory. Both the countries have now completely shut their skies to each other’s airlines. Meanwhile, Pakistan has increased ceasefire violations along the Line of Control, and the Indian Army has been responding strongly. Security forces in Kashmir have also stepped up anti-terror operations. The situation remains tense with no signs of thaw
