PM Modi announced power infrastructure upgrades in Bihar, launching projects worth Rs 1,170 crore and inaugurating others worth Rs 5,030 crore under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme. To strengthen rail connectivity, he flagged off the Amrit Bharat Express from Saharsa to Mumbai and the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail from Jaynagar to Patna.
He distributed around Rs 930 crore to over two lakh Self Help Groups in Bihar under the Community Investment Fund of DAY-NRLM. The Prime Minister also handed sanction letters to 15 lakh new PMAY-Gramin beneficiaries and released instalments to 10 lakh recipients across the country.
