As many as 13 new cases of coronavirus and one death due to the disease have been reported in Thane, according to Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Tuesday.
With the addition of the latest cases and death on Tuesday, the infection tally in Thane has gone up to 1,96,527 and the fatality toll to 2,161.
There are currently 197 active Covid-19 cases in Thane and the count of recoveries has reached 1,94,196.

Meanwhile, Mumbai on Tuesday recorded 120 fresh cases of coronavirus and one death due to the infection.
With this, the tally of cases has risen to 11,49,235 and toll to 19,726.
