Tourists stranded in Kashmir and their relatives in Maharashtra are requested to reach out for help by calling 022-22027990, as appealed by the State Disaster Management Cell.
The Disaster Management Cell at Mantralaya is operating 24/7 in response to this tragic incident.
The mortal remains of the tourists who lost their lives in the attack will be brought from Srinagar to Mumbai today.
The bodies of the deceased from Maharashtra and Gujarat will arrive at Mumbai Airport via flight this afternoon and will then be transported to their hometowns by ambulance. The State Government is extending all necessary support for this.
