The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced that the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Std XII examination, held in February-March 2025, will be declared online today at 1 pm.

The students who appeared for the exam under any of the nine divisional boards - Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan - can access their subject-wise marks on the official websites. Students can download and print their mark sheets from these websites.

Additionally, digital mark sheets will be available for safekeeping via the Digilocker app. The colleges can access consolidated results through the ‘College Login' section at https://mahahsscboard.in.

Verification and re-valuation

Students who wish to apply for verification of marks, obtain photocopies of answer sheets, or request re-evaluation, can do so online through the state board's official website from May 6 to May 20, 2025. Applications can be submitted either personally or through the respective junior colleges. Fees can be paid digitally via debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.

For re-evaluation, it is mandatory to first obtain a photocopy of the answer sheet. The application for re-evaluation must be submitted online within five working days of receiving the photocopy, following the prescribed format and payment of the requisite fee. Students are advised to contact their divisional board for further guidance.

Improvement, supplementary exams

Students who have passed all subjects in the February-March 2025 HSC examination are eligible to reappear for improvement in grades under the Class Improvement Scheme in the next three sessions - June-July 2025, February-March 2026, and June-July 2026.

For the supplementary examination, to be conducted in June-July 2025, online application forms for repeater students, grade improvement candidates, and private candidates will be available from Wednesday, May 7, 2025. A separate notification regarding the supplementary examination process will be issued shortly, stated Devdas Kulal, secretary, MSBSHSE.

Over 15 lakh students, including 810,348 boys, 694,652 girls, and 37 transgender students, appeared for the HSC examination. For the successful conduction of the examination, the MSBSHSE had deployed flying squads, imposed Section 144 around exam centres and ensured cheating-free examination inside the exam hall, yet there were several cases of copying reported.
