The 38th edition of Surajkund International Crafts Mela is currently underway in Faridabad, Haryana. Spanning 17 days, this event showcases art, craftsmanship and talent from artisans and artists across India and the world, through handicraft displays, cultural performances and more.

The fair began on February 7 and will continue till February 23.
Madhya Pradesh and Odisha are sharing the title of theme states for the first time in the event’s history.
The Surajkund Crafts Mela features international participation from BIMSTEC nations, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. Artists and performers from other countries are also participating in the fair.
Several cultural performances are taking place every day at the chaupals (open-air theatres), highlighting folk art forms from different states of India and beyond.
Renowned musical artists are also gracing the stage at the fair. On Day 1, Sufi singer Satinder Sartaj mesmerised the audience with his soulful voice.
Folk and playback singer Mame Khan performed on Day 2 of the fair.
Haryanvi folk artist Padma Shri Mahabir Guddu graced the stage on Day 3.
