Watch a movie
One of the easiest gifts for your mother is going for a movie together or simply watching it at home with her. While that may seem like a very regular option, it will help her unwind and let you both enjoy some time to bond together

Cook your mother a meal
Isn't she the one who is always making meals for you? How about you cook a meal or two for her on the day? While going out for brunch is easy, take the effort and she will be even more proud of you

Frame photographs
It may be a little too late to get a sketch done, but that doesn't mean you can't take some of the most cherished photos you have together with your mother, and put them together. If you don't have the time, you can simply buy a photo frame, after printing the photographs. It would be even better if you are able to look for some photographs from the past, and make a cardboard frame by hand; you will easily find tutorials for them on the internet

Decorate the house
If you want to take it up a notch, then simply decorate her favourite place or the entire house with brightly coloured festoons, that will immediately bring a smile to her face. Beyond that, invite your grandmothers and aunts or anybody who has been a mother-figure in your life, and celebrate the day with food, drink and games

Give her a greeting card
Greetng cards are ancient and many people don't exchange it anymore but it is reminiscent of a time gone by. The easiest way or to add to all of this, you can give her a greeting card that can either be handmade or bought from the store. Tell her how you feel and watch it bring tears to her eyes. Don't forget to colour and decorate it in your own unique way.

While doing all this, don't forget to include your siblings or cousins because doing these things together always brings more joy ahead of the day
