Actors who took sabatical after becoming mother

Disha Vakani, renowned for her portrayal of Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, embraced motherhood in 2017. Following this, she took a sabbatical from the show to focus on her family. In May 2022, she welcomed her second child, a baby boy, further extending her hiatus from television

Nisha became a mother to son Kavish in 2017. Nearly three years after the birth of Kavish, Nisha went through a public separation with then-husband Karan Mehra. While she did not return to daily soaps immediately after childbirth, she stayed active with endorsements to earn her living

Rupali welcomed her son Rudransh in 2015. After embracing motherhood, she took a break from acting for nearly seven years. She made her grand comeback with the show Anupamaa, which turned out to be a massive hit
