After Raid 2, Vaani was supposed to be seen in the film Abir Gulaal opposite Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. However, viewing the tension between India and Pakistan, the film's release has been put on hold and will most likely never see the light of the day in India.
Vaani also has Mandala Murders in her line-up. Netflix series Mandala Murders marks Kapoor's foray into long-format storytelling. It also stars Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Jameel Khan and Surveen Chawla. The series backed by Yash Raj Films is being directed by Gopi Puthren.
