On Tuesday, the motion poster and release date of the Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi-led mystery thriller Chehre was released. Rumy Jafry's directorial venture hits the screens on April 30. Though the cast, which also includes Annu Kapoor, Krystle D'Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav and Siddhanth Kapoor, were mentioned in the official announcement, Rhea Chakraborty's name was missing.
This has led to speculation if she has been booted out of Anand Pandit's production. In 2019, she had shared the first look of the film. It is said that she bagged the project as late beau Sushant Singh Rajput was close to Jafry. The writer-director was planning a film with SSR. Jafry had extended support to Chakraborty and reportedly said she deserves a âfair trial'.
Chehre, starring Amitabh Bachchan with Rhea Chakraborty and Emraan Haashmi, has been confirmed for theatrical release on April 30. Big B tweeted the first poster of the film, where it seems that he is interrogating Emraan while the others such as Annu Kapoor and Krystle D'souza look on nervously.

"#Chehre se bada koi naqaab nahi hota!Uncover the real #Chehre, much-awaited mystery-thriller, in theatres on 30th April2021," Big B wrote as caption.
The thriller has been helmed by Rummy Jafry and produced by Anand Pandit. Chehre also features, Siddhanth Kapoor, Krystle Dsouza, Raghubir Yadav and Annu Kapoor. The film is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited.
