Aamir Khan turns 56 on March 14, but he is looking younger by the day. On Monday, he spent time pampering himself at a salon in Bandra. The superstar stepped out in his favourite custom-made Kolhapuri chappals.

On the work front, Aamir Khan is currently gearing up for his much-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha, also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and directed by Advait Chandan. An adaptation of Tom Hanks's Hollywood classic, Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha is all set to arrive this Christmas. Besides this film, there's also news that Aamir Khan will be portraying the role of Gulshan Kumar in his biopic titled Mogul. And now, if reports are to be believed, the actor will be collaborating with director RS Prasanna for a slice of life, sports film.
Aamir will wrap up Laal Singh Chaddha's final schedule in Kargil between May-June this year. The team is waiting for the snow to melt so that they can go ahead and shoot the Kargil war sequence, which is said to be pivotal to the film's plot.

Apart from playing the lead character in this Hindi adaptation of the Oscar-winning film, Forrest Gump, Aamir is also the producer of this magnum opus project. Laal Singh Chaddha is touted to be one of the most anticipated films in the last two years. Interestingly, it brings the much-loved pairing of Aamir-Kareena back to the big screen post their blockbuster titled, 3 Idiots. Apart from it being the official adaptation of one of the most popular and award-winning Hollywood film, (Forrest Gump), it's this pairing that has raised excitement and curiosity amongst the movie-goers.
