In a landmark educational initiative, NALSAR University of Law has joined forces with LawSikho to introduce the "Diploma in Future of Law: AI, Technology & Legal Practice" - a pioneering program that will launch in June 2025 with official certification from NSDC and Skill India. This innovative course is specifically designed to provide students with practical skills for the rapidly evolving AI-driven legal environment.
Preparing Tomorrow's Legal Professionals
"AI revolution is leading to rethink notions of judicial understanding of creativity, rights and responsibilities and justice delivery. The entire legal fraternity, lawyers, judges, companies and law firms including legal academia have to creatively engage and learn from the development in law Tech and work towards responsible AI. We are delighted to partner with NSDC and Lawsikho in taking up this duty of offering this course which is very relevant in these times of emerging legal tech," Prof. Srikrishna Deva Rao, Vice-Chancellor of NALSAR states enthusiastically.
The program, beginning June 2025, offers hands-on experience where participants will create 25+ legal documents using AI tools, develop professional freelance profiles, and learn compliance automation techniques-all skills that translate directly into paid work opportunities.
Impressive Track Record
LawSikho's success speaks volumes: between April 2020 and March 2025, they've helped over 53,006 students secure employment, internships, and remote freelance work. Their commitment to practical legal training is further evidenced by the creation of more than 27,501 freelance opportunities between April 2021 and March 2025, generating income for thousands of students with a total value exceeding INR 9.96 crore (USD 1.2 million).
